No summer get-together is complete without a grazing board! A charcuterie is the perfect grab-and-go snack for hosting friends or taking to a holiday party! Consider making a board to take to your 4th of July celebration.


Charcuterie boards are the perfect item to bring because they are customizable to anyone's diet preferences. You can make a dessert, vegetable, cheese and crackers, or themed charcuterie board!


This 4th of July charcuterie board will be a crowd-pleaser!


How to make a charcuterie board:

  • pick your fruits, vegetables, sips, crackers, cheeses, and other items you want to include on your spread

  • add your dips into a small bowl and place throughout the board

  • Add clumps of your chosen items around the bowls until the board is full


Low FODMAP 4th of July board ideas:

  • Raspberries

  • Strawberries

  • Blueberries

  • Kiwis

  • Mandarin oranges

  • Pineapples

  • Brie cheese

  • Savory Cream cheese dip

  • Sweet Fruit Dip

  • Other low FODMAP cheeses (feta, Mozzarella, goat cheese) or a small amount of hard cheeses

  • Red bell pepper slices (up to 1/3 cup serving)

  • Cherry Tomatoes

  • Low FODMAP crackers (these are great!) or Sourdough Crackers

Other charcuterie ideas:

  • Carrots

  • Celery

  • Olives

  • Tortilla Chips

  • Pickles/Gherkins (check that they don't have garlic or onion if you are sensitive)

  • 1/4 cup nuts or seeds such as peanuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds, or walnuts (avoid too many pistachios or cashews)

  • Prosciutto

  • Capocollo
